What does it mean that a order is being "under review"?

Why We Review Transactions on Tradera

One of our most important tasks is to make Tradera a safe marketplace. To achieve this, we work every day, all year round, to prevent fraud, money laundering, and the sale of stolen goods.

Which Transactions Are Reviewed?

Listings that meet certain criteria may automatically be selected for review, such as:

  • High-risk items
  • High final prices
  • Few or no reviews

If the Order Is Reviewed at the Time of Buyer’s Payment

In most cases, the transaction is automatically approved after 24 hours, as this is simply a routine measure. In exceptional cases, we may need more information, and in those cases, you will receive an email from us. As a seller, you should wait to ship the item until the status changes from "Payment Processing" to "Paid."

If the Order Is Reviewed Before the Money Is Released to the Seller

What Should the Seller Do?

When an order is under review, you as a seller will receive a notification on Tradera. The buyer will also be informed that they need to confirm the delivery for the funds to be released. Sometimes, you may need to provide a tracking number or proof that the buyer has picked up the item. Once everything is approved, the money will be released.

What Should the Buyer Do?

When an order is under review, you as a buyer will receive a notification on Tradera informing you that the payment will be released to the seller once you have confirmed the delivery. You usually do this by clicking one of the option buttons in the message. In some cases, we may ask a few additional questions.
