How do I start a dispute to use my buyer protection?
Open a Case
If you have buyer protection, you have 30 days from the payment date to open a case if you haven’t received the item or if it differs significantly from the description. Click on "More actions" and select "Report a problem with purchase."
From there, you can create a case. The first step in a case is always that you and the seller get a chance to resolve the issue together. Most problems can be quickly resolved when buyers and sellers maintain good communication. Messages sent within the case are forwarded to the seller, who is encouraged to respond. If you can’t find a solution together or if the seller doesn’t respond, you have the option to escalate the case to Tradera.
This must be done within 10 days from when the case was opened.
How to get help from Tradera in the case:
1. Click on "My purchases" and find the relevant listing with the status "Ongoing case"
2. Click on the status and select "Escalate case to Tradera"
Tradera will then take over the handling of the case and make a decision. The processing time for a case that has been escalated to Tradera can be up to 14 days.
