Why does Tradera have rules for uniforms and security-related items?
Uniforms, ID badges and equipment from security-related organisations can be used to impersonate police, emergency services or military personnel. This poses a direct security risk and is in many cases prohibited by law.
We have had dialogue with the Police and other authorities about their view on the sale of these types of items, and their assessment forms the basis of our rules. To ensure a safe marketplace, Tradera therefore has restrictions on which uniforms and security-related items may be sold on the platform.
