Purchase Request - Buyer

You can send a purchase request to sellers on listings that have ended without being sold to anyone.

How do I send a purchase request?

Click on the "Send purchase request" button on the ended listing. Then enter a price you think the seller will accept.

Is my purchase request binding?

Yes, just like bids on Tradera, your purchase request is binding when the seller chooses to accept it. The purchase request is active for 24 hours. If you do not receive a response within that time period, the request is considered declined, and you are no longer obligated to complete the transaction.

Which listings can I send a purchase request on?

You can send a purchase request on ended listings that have not been sold. It is not possible to send a purchase request on a store listing, as these only end if the seller runs out of stock or removes the item for another reason.

What happens if my purchase request is not accepted by the seller?

You can send up to 3 purchase requests per item. This increases the chance of reaching an agreement on a final price.

Does shipping include in the purchase request?

The price a buyer specifies in their purchase request excludes shipping. As usual, the shipping options offered by the seller are displayed on the product page.

Why can't I send a purchase request on a specific listing?

The seller may have marked the item as no longer available on a previous purchase request, in which case the option to send further requests on the listing disappears.
