Klarna was launched as a payment option on Tradera on 10/11 2022. In this guide, you will find frequently asked questions and answers about what this means for you.
Q: Klarna's checkout includes Swish, will Swish payments now go through Klarna?
A: No, payments with Swish work exactly as before the launch.
Q: Is buyer protection included if I pay with Klarna?
A: Yes, buyer protection is always included when you pay with Klarna and costs 5 SEK + 5% of the item's cost, maximum 750 SEK.
Q: Am I automatically registered with Klarna when I buy something on Tradera?
A: No, you are only registered with Klarna if you choose to pay with Klarna.
Q: How do I use my buyer protection?
A: You start a case with Klarna.

Q: Does the seller need to wait for payment if the buyer chooses to pay later?
A: No, the payment will come within 1-2 banking days just like with all other payment methods.
Q: Is there seller protection if the buyer chooses Klarna?
A: Yes, just like with other payment methods with buyer protection, the seller also has seller protection. To be protected as a seller, you need to use a trackable shipping method regardless of which buyer protection is chosen.
Q: Are my details registered with Klarna if one of my customers pays with Klarna?
A: No, we do not send any details about you as a seller, it is only if you choose to pay with Klarna yourself that your details are registered with them.
