I have received a negative review, what should I do now?
It's always unfortunate to receive a negative review, but it can happen to anyone. Here are some tips on what you can do when you receive a negative review.
What does the negative review mean for me?
A single negative review does not affect your account, as reviews on Tradera are subjective. However, if you receive multiple negative reviews, it can affect your ability to sell items and buy from certain sellers.
If you receive a high percentage of unique negative reviews (from several different members), your account may be shut down.
What can Tradera do?
If the review violates our rules, you can contact us for help in removing the review. You can read more about our review rules here. If the review does not violate our rules, we will not be able to remove it.
What can I do?
Contact the other party
In most cases, you can get the negative review removed by contacting the other party in the transaction and trying to find a mutual solution to the cause of the negative review.
Comment on the review
If you feel that the review is inaccurate or beyond your control, you can always comment on the negative review.
Mutual withdrawal of negative review
If both parties have left negative reviews for each other, you can also send a request for a mutual withdrawal of the review. This is useful in cases where the issue has been resolved after the reviews were left.
