How to pack your item
To ensure your items arrive in good condition, it’s important to pack them properly. Good packaging helps both you as the seller and the buyer feel confident. Keep in mind that carriers rarely compensate for damage caused by poor packaging.
Use a strong outer packaging
Choose packaging of good quality, preferably double-walled cardboard for heavier or fragile items.
Fill empty spaces in the package
Use bubble wrap, foam, or paper to keep the item from moving or being crushed during transport.
Seal the package properly
Use strong tape, and a good tip is to use H-taping: one strip along the centre and two across the edges.
Place the shipping label flat
Attach the label flat on the largest side of the package, make sure the barcode is visible, and remove any old labels or addresses.
Label when necessary
If the item is fragile, label the package with stickers such as Fragile, This Way Up, or Keep Dry.
