Limitation of identical items

Why does Tradera have rules limiting identical items?

Sellers may have a maximum of five identical items listed at the same time. For shop listings, only one identical listing is allowed.

The rule exists to give all sellers a fair opportunity to be visible within categories. If one seller publishes many identical items in the same category, it reduces the visibility of other listings. A more varied selection also makes it easier for buyers to find what they are looking for and makes the marketplace more attractive to browse. This benefits both buyers and sellers and contributes to a better experience on Tradera.

For shop listings, a stricter limitation applies—only one listing per identical item is allowed, as shops have access to inventory functionality. If you sell similar items with different variations, such as size or color, it is allowed to list them in separate listings. However, each shop listing must be unique.

In larger campaigns, exceptions to this rule may occur, always in agreement with Tradera.
