My listings appear on Facebook – how does it work?

In June 2025, Tradera will begin a collaboration with Facebook Marketplace, meaning that some of your listings will also be visible on Marketplace.

This collaboration will last until the end of the year and applies only to private individuals selling on Tradera in Sweden.

Does it cost extra when you show my listings on Marketplace? No, it is completely free.

Can I choose which listings will be shown on Marketplace? No, the first 20 listings published each month will be shown on Marketplace during the test period.

Do I need to reply to messages on Facebook? No, you will not receive any messages there. Your listing will only appear on Marketplace – all communication and transactions will take place as usual on Tradera.

What data do you share with Facebook during this test? We only share your alias and your feedback score. There is no link between the listings shared on Marketplace and your private Facebook account.

Is it safe to sell through Facebook Marketplace in this way? Yes, since the entire purchase and all communication takes place via Tradera, the same buyer and seller protection applies as usual.

Do I need a Facebook account for my listings to be visible on Marketplace? No, you do not need a Facebook account for your listings to be visible on Marketplace.

Do I need to do anything for my listings to appear on Facebook Marketplace? No, but you can opt out of showing your listings on Marketplace in your seller settings.
